Massachusetts Public Libraries
  • Boston Public Library e-card​
    • Access to all online resources at BPL, including Overdrive and Hoopla.
    • Register (takes about 1 minute and can be used immediately).

*If you are traveling outside of the U.S. - you must register before you leave. Registrations outside of the country are not accepted.

  •  Individual public libraries
    • Most public libraries are part of a library network, which means access to a greater number of eBooks.
    • Access your local library's network through the their online catalogs.

*In order to access eBooks, most public libraries require a library card, which must be gotten in person. However, check with your library to find out what their requirements are.

    • Register (Requires basic information, email verification and can be used immediately).

    • List of 25 sites that carry books available under the public domain.
