HIST: Class IV and III Online Research

Starting out

Your first step in any research project is to open up NoodleTools and create a project.  When you find a resource you think you might use, save the information in your project in NoodleTools so you can find it again (remember, you do not need to use all the resources you find - some may not work for your project after you really look at them).

For this project you will also need to create notecards and an outline, which is really easy in NoodleTools.  As you add a citation you can link the notecards to that source, and tag it so you can arrange the information as you start to organize your paper. It is also easy to find the format for endnotes (or footnotes) so readers can see where you got your ideas, information and quotes.
