Search Tips for Books

1. Search the library catalog using the suggestions on the "How to Search" page.
2. General books on the Empires, or even the Islamic world in general should be looked through.
3. Use the index to find the specific topic you are interested in.

• Some of our print and ebooks are primary sources
  • anthologies (or a compilation of primary sources edited together)
  • autobiography/memoir or personal history
• There are also primary source extracts (passages, quotations etc..) that can be found in secondary sources
