General Academic Opportunies

  • Cambridge Immerse Programme (16-18 years old)
    Cambridge Immerse is a unique two week residential educational experience with a diverse and enriching curriculum. Participants are taught by highly regarded tutors who are current or previous members of Oxford University or Cambridge University, and have tutored undergraduate students. Cambridge Immerse fosters an optimal learning environment that stimulates academic enquiry and instills a passion for learning. Participants learn in small classes, with supplementary workshops and outstanding tutorials in the subject of their choice.
  • Cappex 2022 Summer Programs
  • Duke Summer College for High School Students (rising 10/11th grade)
    Earn college credit alongside academically-motivated students from around the world in Duke University’s Summer College for High School Students. If you are a current 10th or 11th grade student, you are eligible to apply as early as December 4, 2017. This 4-week credit-bearing program offered by Duke University attracts students who represent the next generation of leaders from around the world. Immerse yourself in an international college experience by enrolling in this élite program designed to provide high school students with an academic and residential environment conducive to collegiate success.
  • Hampshire Precollege Summer (rising 11th/12th grade)
    Experience Hampshire College while you're still in high school. Get a sense of our innovative approach to learning and what life is like on Hampshire's campus during our 2-week pre-college sessions every summer in July. Pre-college participants live in the dorms, eat in the dining commons, and are immersed in rigorous and exciting fields of study. Led by current Hampshire faculty, recent graduates, and experienced alumni, our pre-college programs are intended for rising high school juniors and seniors.

Our goal is to make sure we’re offering programs that reflect the richness and diversity of the majors and minors at Syracuse University. We have credit and noncredit programs that run at different lengths.
