GEN: Summer Opportunities

Basketball, equestrian, swim and tennis camps are offered, as well as athletic performance enhancement camp. The campus is alive with activity all summer long. We offer Summer Term courses, residential and day academic and sports camps, workshops, the annual Most Arts Festival, weddings, conferences and much more.

The goal of ASA is to prepare athletes to “Reach the Next Level” of competition, whether it be middle school, high school, club, college or professional. Our goal is that all campers interested in sports feel comfortable, and even beginners have a place at ASA in which they can take up a sport for the first time, or jump in at any stage of the game, and not feel overwhelmed. Enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn are the keys to our program.

We are an Adirondacks summer camp for boys and girls ages 8-14, located in the mountains outside Lake Placid, NY. Here children experience the natural world and an array of creative and challenging activities in a simple, unhurried, child-centered environment.

The Environmental Studies Summer Youth Institute (ESSYI) is a two-week, college-level interdisciplinary summer program for talented high-school students entering their junior and senior years. ESSYI introduces students to environmental issues and interdisciplinary techniques for addressing environmental problems. Students make new intellectual and emotional connections as they explore current environmental challenges through scientific, social, economic, philosophical, ethical, and political perspectives.

For over 30 years, Envision has delivered transformational career exploration and leadership experiences for high-aspiring students like you. Envisionaries who attend our programs gain hands-on experience and the success skills they need to become our next generation of entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, engineers, influencers, journalists, digital media stars, diplomats and leaders.

During the summer months ,we offer daily and weekly farm camp programs for children ages 2-17. Our programs connect your family to food and agriculture through the fun and excitement found on our working farm. The FARM Institute's land, plants, and animals provide opportunities to learn about work ethic, teamwork, community, environmental stewardship, science, math, the arts, carpentry... the possibilities are endless!

Inward Bound Mindfulness Education (iBme) is a nonprofit that offers in-depth mindfulness programming for youth and the parents and professionals who support them. Our programming guides teens and young adults in developing self-awareness, compassion, and ethical decision making, and empowers them to apply these skills in improving their lives and communities. iBme is committed to caring for the natural world and addressing issues of social justice in all that we do.

Kutsher's Sports Academy is the best summer camp in the Berkshires! At KSA, we provide an extraordinary, totally elective camping experience in a beautiful mountain setting. The Montana Wilderness School is a nonprofit outdoor education organization based in Bozeman, Montana, providing multi-week wilderness expeditions for Montana youth.

SOAR is an accredited ADHD Camp, Boarding School, and GAP Year Program. We serve youth and young adults with ADHD and other Learning Disabilities in North Carolina, Wyoming, California, Florida, and internationally! Our adventure based programs provide academic instruction, experiential education, and life skills development for youth and young adults ages 8-24. Created in 1977 by an adult with learning disabilities, SOAR provides fun and successful experiences so that participants may gain greater awareness of their own strengths and improve self-esteem and confidence.

Mayor Martin J. Walsh and Boston Centers for Youth & Families Division of Youth Engagement & Employment present the SuccessLink Employment Program. The City of Boston has partnered with hundreds of community-based and nonprofit organizations across the city to provide meaningful employment opportunities to thousands of Boston teens ages 15 to 18. Participants can work in various positions that include camp counselors, administrative assistants, mural painters, peer leaders, and many more!

YMCA Camp Lakewood is where kids come in the summer time to have fun, learn new skills, make new friends, and to simply be a kid.
